Hi, I want to write a book for teens. I read this book, All-America Girl by Meg Cabot and I want it to be somehing like that, a romantic book, but with a small twist. Not a sappy one, a comic funny one when the girl ends up with the person least expected. Can i have suggestions on what to write about? NO deep books. Funny, romantic one would be best. Thanks! Also, a good beginning would be appreciated.
I am not copying Meg’s book. I want to do something like that! I am using it as inspiration, not as a copy. I like the idea of it and I wish to do something like that, not exactly do it!

I have tons of movie ideas, and I mean tons, okay not tons, but at least a dozen some are bad, and some are good, and some are really good. I want to turn all of them into movies some day, if I make it big in Hollywood. But about half of them I’d really like to turn into a book first. Anyway, back on topic, I need to know how to get a publisher, (If at all possible an inexpensive one) and how to pitch me idea to him, or whatever you do. I just need to know the steps to make my stories into books.
And if at all possible, I would like to make contact with producers in Hollywood, but I don’t think Yahoo Answers stretches that far.
